  • Dealing with the administration of English estates holding assets in the UK and across the world.  Considering double taxation issues where applicable.
  • Dealing with insolvent estates.
  • Preparing Inland Revenue Accounts including applications to transfer the unused nil rate band between spouses and working with genealogists to obtain the required missing beneficiary information via his vast network of contacts.
  • Preparation and registration of Ordinary, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney and providing advice to donors, attorneys and certificate providers as to their respective duties and obligations.
  • Advising on contentious probate matters in the Principal Probate Registry; London and the Chancery Division of the High Court.

  • Proving a copy will and also a codicil where the original will went ‘missing’ in contentious family estates

Since 2009, Nicholas has run six “Will Aid” schemes for his respective firms, drafting hundreds of wills, “living wills”, codicils and letters of wishes to financially benefit the core nine Will Aid charities.  Over sixty four thousand pounds (£64,000) has been raised for charity.
