Experience

Nathan's interest in law began with vacation schemes and volunteering roles. After university he found employment with the Citizens Advice Bureau which gave him valuable day-to-day experience whilst he completed his LPC. After his LPC he obtained a paralegal role before undertaking his training contract.

Nathan enjoys the challenges and the variety of work he experiencse every day. No two days are the same and each day brings a new challenge, which keeps things interesting. He finds it particularly satisfying when he achieves a favourable outcome on a challenging case.   

Nathan handles a broad range of commercial disputes on behalf of both businesses and private individuals. Particular examples of his experience include:

  • Property litigation – particularly: landlord and tenant disputes, rent & service charge arrears, forfeiture/possession claims, squatters and right of way and boundary disputes.
  • Breach of Contract claims for both Claimants and Defendants on a range of contractual disputes. This includes the recent successful recovery of unpaid commissions triggered prior to the termination of a contractor.
  • Professional negligence claims – successfully acted for an individual to recover substantial damages in a negligence claim against a surveyor. 
  • Construction and Building Works disputes.
