I am Managing Partner of Pannone Corporate LLP. The firm was formed through the acquisition of the majority of the commercial practice of Pannone LLP in February 2014.
I am also a partner in the firm's litigation practice.
I have been lucky enough to have been involved in some high profile and interesting disputes during my career. I enjoy working with clients to resolve their disputes; thinking laterally and working hard as part of a team is a hugely important part of the job.
In 2009 I obtained a post graduate diploma (commendation) in intellectual property law and in 2011 began sitting as a Deputy District Judge on the Northern Circuit.
I am always looking for the next challenging case!
Specialties: Dispute resolution and commercial litigation, mediation, corporate disputes (boardroom "bust ups", shareholder disputes, warranty claims), injunctions and injunctive relief, commercial fraud claims, intellectual property disputes and claims, franchise disputes, restrictive covenant claims, defamation and reputation management, breach of contract disputes, partnership and LLP disputes, professional negligence, arbitration, international disputes, search order and supervising solicitors.
The majority of disputes in which I become involved never reach court. I am an enthusiastic supporter of alternative dispute resolution techniques such as mediation.
After leaving Osborne Clarke in 1997 I joined another leading national law firm, Pinsent Curtis ( now Pinsent Masons) Leeds office.
In 2010, Paul was appointed as a Deputy District Judge on the Northern Circuit.

Clients have described Paul as “incredibly able”, a “tremendous strategist,” and he is valued for his ability to “take the emotions out of the process.”
Thoroughly diligent and professional in his approach, Paul is a highly capable litigation and dispute resolution lawyer and a super chap to boot.
I have used Paul on a number of occasions including a matter that went to mediation
Hire him - you will not be disappointed!!
Paul is a top class litigation lawyer, practical and sees the real issues really clearly. Provides excellent advice. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul for a heavy weight litigation matter.
A great tactical lawyer with an uncanny ability to see the bigger commercial picture even when in the trenches with his clients (which he always is), I value Paul's advice highly and would recommend him to anyone who really wants to avoid making a drama out of a crisis.
In 2010, Paul was awarded Mediation Champion of the Year by CEDR (a leading mediation services provider) in recognition of his commitment to mediation.
