I am a fully qualified, ‘Avvocato Cassazionista’ (Barrister of the Italian Supreme Court) and registered European lawyer, authorized by the SRA to practice in England and Wales. I have been running my own law firm in Italy since 1999 and last February I became partner (non – member) as Italian consultant at Athena law solicitors LLP, Manchester (UK), where I am setting up the Italian desk and I can provide a comprehensive range of legal services to Italian businesses and entrepreneurs located in the North West, as well as helping Italian private clients who are looking to invest in British property.
Specialisms include corporate structures, civil law, commercial law and international business.
Therefore, I have a considerable experience assisting both English and Italian clients, both in Italy and the UK. For many years I was in the list of the Italian ‘speaking Englis’h lawyers of the British and American consulate in Naples. So I had the opportunity to represent interests of many British and American citizens in Italy, but also interests of Italians in UK.
My experience as High profile lawyer gave me also the opportunity to join important roles of manager, CEO and member of important Italian company, in particular:
President of the Board of Consortium ASI Salerno (Industrial Development Area), www.asisalerno.it (from 20. 10. 2010 to 24.03.2016 )The Consortium includes 34 cities in the Salerno Province, the Province itself and the Chamber of Commerce. The industrial areas are located around four main poles. As President, since 2010 I have been developing and exploiting strategies aimed to support local enterprises and to set up new companies. Since I have been the legal representative of the Consortium, among others, I had responsibility to make decisions on official boards concerning strategic and spatial planning of the mentioned industrial areas, to set up and manage strategies for the attraction and retention of new and existing companies and to deal with Human Resources management.
Member of the Board of FICEI (Italian Federation Industrial Consortia) www.ficei.it (from March 2013 to July 2015).
Member of the board of ‘Interporto di Battipaglia’ – (Freight Village for transport and logistics) (2014 – 2015).
Member of the Board of the Consiglio Ordine degli Avvocati di Salerno (Council of the Bar), from January 2006 to January 2010.
Member of the National Board of the Italian Young Lawyers Association (AIGA), responsible for Southern Italy, appointed October 2005 until October 2008.
