Rugby, United Kingdom
I work as a Senior Associate in the Rugby office, representing people across the country with all aspects of Family Law. I have a particular interest in joint ownership disputes and complex family finance cases.
I find the job so rewarding, providing support to people in their hour of need. I am proud to have played a part in helping some of our customers to rebuild their lives after particularly difficult experiences. I have represented people from every corner of the UK, as well as having many clients overseas in the US, Europe and UAE.
I am recognised in Legal 500 as a ‘Key Lawyer’ within the firm and work alongside a Team who have been recognised as Regional Firm of the Year in the Family Law Awards.
Away from work, I am a proud father and keen rugby player who follows the sport avidly. I completed my LPC part-time whilst working at Brethertons and qualified as a solicitor in 2019.
Legal Assistant
I have extensive experience dealing with divorce, dissolution and annulment proceedings as well as the financial claims arising from the breakdown of a marriage or civil partnership. My experience with financial claims ranges from the most basic clean break consent orders to the more complex cases involving complex business structures or cross-jurisdictional assets. I have acted for clients based in the US, the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
I am regularly instructed to prepare Pre or Post Nuptial Agreement and work pragmatically with other firms to ensure the documents are prepared and completed swiftly. Cohabitation Agreements are also becoming more popular as we continue to see an increase in "unmarried couples."
I regularly assist clients with contact or residence disputes and have acted for clients in relation to applications for Prohibited Steps Orders, Leave to Remove from the Jurisdiction, Specific Issue Orders and Child Arrangement Orders.
