Rachel Adams

I am an Associate Solicitor in the Rugby Family team and support customers with any family or matrimonial concerns or disputes.  My area of practice ranges from divorce and financial matters, cohabitation issues and disputes (including drafting Separation Agreements), pre-nuptial agreements, and children matters.  I assist Head of Department, Linda Jones, with cases involving complex and high value assets, where there are often difficult and stressful circumstances.

I understand how difficult family matters are, and I pride myself on supporting my customers through such a difficult emotional time.  I understand that coming to see a solicitor can be a daunting prospect, but I am down to earth, compassionate, proactive and approachable, and will fight my customer’s corner all the way.  

I have been ranked in independent legal directories Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for a number of years now, in 2014 Chambers & Partners praised my ‘client care and ability to deal with child contact disputes and financial remedies’, in the same issue I was also described as an ‘approachable individual who combines a sound knowledge of the law and robust presentation of her client's case with realism and sensitivity.’  In the 2015 edition of Chambers & Partners I was commended for my ‘robust and realistic’ approach to family finance.
