Benjamin Posener

I am the managing partner of FPG Solicitors and am an experienced litigator and advocate responsible for all areas of litigation and commercial law in the practice. I have gained extensive experience in all areas of litigation and have particular expertise in large Banking and Finance cases and those of Professional Negligence. I also have experience in representing clients in relation to both High Court civil and serious criminal fraud allegations. My litigation experience is both in claimant and defendant work.

Since the inception of FPG Solicitors I have amassed further experience in the field litigation and regulatory claims and was responsible for leading our team against the four major banks in relation to the mis-selling of Interest Rate Hedging Products. The claims proved to be successful for a large number of SMEs returning substantial sums of money in damages and consequential losses.

Currently specialising in High Court Litigation Claims against financial institutions, I am experienced in acting against magic and silver circle firms such as Clifford Chance, DLA, Hogan Lovells, Addleshaw Goddard, and Dentons. I am also experienced in litigating professional negligence claims against other professionals including solicitors and medical professionals. I have settled a number of large and complex cases and continue to represent others in the High Court both defending and bringing claims.

As well as litigation matters I have experience in drafting company and commercial contacts, regulatory manuals and other documents for SMEs. I have gained experience in advising SMEs on many legal issues relevant to running a business in a litigious and regulation heavy society and have assisted businesses utilise agreements, contracts and other documents so as to assist in their smooth running. I utilise my knowledge and experience in contract law to better provide advice in relation to contracts and other documents which SMEs require on a day-to-day basis.
